Sakura is a hyper girl and is sporty. Later on she reveals her softer side. Precure story: One day after school she goes to her backyard where flowers are blooming. She feels a strange sudden burst of energy inside her. A fairy, Bloom pops out and then says Sakura! You are the next precure! Sakura thinks "this thing.. knows my name!?" Sakura later transforms.

Sakura yells "Pretty Cure! My heart goes on!" Sakura twirls as her top, bow and hair form. Then she claps as her gloves form. She jumps out and her skirt forms. Her hair clip forms then she steps on the stage as her boots form. She then says her introduction: The season of a blooming dream! Cure Spring!
