Otoko Miwa (音子 美和?) is the main protagonist in the Project Diva Pretty Cure! series. Miwa is a young 14 year old girl who wishes to become a famous singer, as well as a meaningful songwriter.

Etymology[]
Otoko (音子?): Can be split up into Oto (音?) meaning "sound"[1] and ko (子?) meaning "child". Together, Otoko in english can be "Sound Child" or "Music Child".
Miwa (美和?): The name has to words in it. Mi (美?) meaning "beautiful" and wa (和?) meaning "harmony"[2]. Together, Miwa in english can be "Beautiful Peace" or "Beautiful Harmony".
The whole name can be "Sound Child with Beautiful Harmony".
