Opaly (オパリー Oparī) is one of the main mascots in Sign ★ Pretty Cure. He is a male, bird-like fairy who comes from the planet of Venus, and is the partner of Cure Libra. Opaly complements Mondy. He ends his sentences with "~opa".

Opaly is a male bird-like fairy. He has opal grey feathers that shine in many different colors, and has topaz yellow eyes.
Personality[]
Opaly is passionate, courageous, proud and energetic, and is a natural optimist, always seeing things the best way possible. His positivity easily makes others feel brighter as well.
History[]
Opaly was born in Northern Venus, where he used to live with his family. He was always very positive and would face any challenge that appeared before him. Opaly soon became very athletic and was praised by all the fairies around him, which made his ego grow.
When he learned about the existence of the Soulless King and the Psyche Thieves, Opaly saw an interesting opportunity, and vowed to defeat the evil king and protect everyone's souls, going to Earth in order to do so.
Etymology[]
Opaly comes from the word "opal", which is the birthstone for the month of October. The gem can come in many different colors.
