Nichiyobi Kaki is one of the protagonists in Pika☆Pika! Etoile♥Love Pretty Cure!. Kaki is a tomboyish girl who is energetic and hyper, she is seen as the most bubbly of the group. Athletic and enjoying to be active, she loves to play in any kind of sports and was a member of the Soccer Team. Despite this, she is a scaredy-cat and was terrible at studies. She loves to take care animals and plants and helps other people who are weak. She makes jokes, and she has a strong partnership with her team mates and she can be active. She is usually seen smiling and bubbly and always positive when she greets.
Her Pretty Cure ego is Cure Volcano, represents Fire Topaz.

Kaki has copper brown hair in a high side ponytail to the left of her head. Her eyes are copper brown. She usually wears white jeans along with a black and yellow belt. She also wears a cube striped yellow shirt. She also wears yellow snickers with orange details.
As Cure Volcano, she wears a yellow hooded outfit with a large bow at the back. Her eyes remains same, albeit in a brighter shade. Her hair grows longer, changes to yellow blonde and now with light yellow/orange highlights. Her placed in a chest was a glittery bow with a Pretty Cure insignia at the center. She has a headband and has yellow/orange shaded eye shadow with 3 gems placed on each eye. She wears knee high socks and ankle boots.[1] She wears orange choker and a long-feathered earrings with diamond-shaped beads.

Despite her personality, Kaki can be a bit of a scaredy-cat and get scared easily. She doesn't want to make her fears obvious but the others can easily sense that she is scared. However, she overcomes her fears of heights and ghosts and eventually gains the Proof of Courage. Throughout her journey of being a Pretty Cure with the girls, she gains more courage and stops being a scaredy-cat.[2] Her parents are working at Sunshine Flower Shop, in which Haru visits.
