Kazumi Hanejiro (羽白 かずみ?) is one of the five main characters of Drifting! Feather Pretty Cure. Her alter ego is Cure Dove, the Peaceful Pretty Cure.

Appearance[]
Kazumi has wavy brown hair that comes down to her shoulders and green eyes. She usually wears an oversized white sweater and black leggings, usually with a pair of white tennis shoes with black highlights. Kazumi often wears necklaces, particularly a chain one with a leaf embalm. She also carries a pink messenger bag.

Personality[]
Kazumi is a kindhearted, reserved, honest girl who struggles with very low self-esteem. She desperately wants friends, but is too anxious to try. Kazumi's deeply empathetic, and tends to see the best in everyone, except those who have hurt someone she's close to. She can, however, be a bit broody, and her self-hatred sometimes leads her to give up quickly.

Etymology[]
- Hanejiro (羽白?)-Hane (羽?) translates to "wing", and jiro (白?) is written using the kanji for "white." This is because doves usually have white feathers.
- Kazumi (かずみ?)-Kazu (かず?) translates as "harmony", befitting her theme, peace. Mi (み?) translates as "beautiful."[1]

Cure Dove is Kazumi's alter ego. To transform, she needs to have her PreFan, Wing Charm, and to shout "Feathers, Dance!"
