Kato Sora (加藤 そら, Kato Sora) is the main character of the Sweet Nature Precure! series. She is an energetic and friendly girl and the leader of the Sweet Nature Cures. Her catchphrase is "Alright!" (やったー！,Yattā!)
Her alter ego is Cure Lightning (キュアライトニング, Kyua Raitoningu) and her theme color is blue and she controls electricity.
Appearance[]
As a civilian, Sora has short, messy brown hair that is just above her shoulders and bright green eyes. She often pulls her hair back into a ponytail for soccer.
In the springtime, Sora's casual outfit consists of a blue shirt with a yellow long sleeve shirt underneath. She also wears a tan skirt and white thigh high socks. She wears blue and white sneakers as well.
As a Cure, Lightning’s hair is blond and signficantly longer than her civilian hair. She also has bright pink eyes.
Personality[]
Sora is very friendly and energetic. She plays soccer for her school's team and happens to be the star player. Sora also loves food and often eats ice cream as a snack. Despite her great athletic ability, Sora is weak in academics (specifically math) and is known to be clueless and stupid from time to time.
Relationships[]
Tomoe Emiri - Sora's first teammate and best friend. They first meet during their second year of middle school after ending up in the same class. Despite their different personalities, Sora and Emiri become very close.

Cure Lightning is the alter ego of Sora. She controls lightning and represents the forces of nature. To transform, she uses the phrase, "Precure, Nature Flash!".

Cure Lightning is able to run at high speeds and dodge attacks. She also has powerful punches and can create lightning whenever she punches, kicks from above, and slides on the ground while landing.
