Hikarimoto Yurie (光本ゆりえ Hikarimoto Yurie?) is one of the main characters in Crystal Pretty Cure!. Like most of the lead Cures before her, Yurie is cheerful and fun-loving and very popular. Her catchphrase is "Let's go to the next star!" (それでは、次の星に行ってみよう！ Soredewa,-ji no hoshi ni itte miyou!?) which basically means that's she wants to go on another adventure. Her alter ego is Cure Sparkle (キュアスパークル Kyua Supākuru?).

- Mizushima Akari - Her Pretty Cure partner and is also one of her classmates. At she first, she didn't really feel comfortable being a Cure with someone she doesn't know, but after getting to know her, she decided Akari was the best choice and that they could somehow work out how to be friends and Pretty Cure partners at the same time.

Etymology[]
Hikarimoto (光本?): Hikari (光?) means light which probably refers to her power of starlight. moto (本?) means this.
Yurie (ゆりえ?): Yuri (ゆり?) means lily while it is unknown what e (え?) means.
If you leave out the "e", her name means "Light this lily".

Yurie's voice actor, Ayana Taketatsu, has participated in several image songs for the character she voices. Many of them include duets with Ai Nonaka, who voices Mizushima Akari.
