Anime Information

Ena (エナ Ena) is a Mononia Unifier and one of the main villains in Diverse Connections Pretty Cure!. Her civilian name is Aikawa Chiyo(相川 千世 Aikawa Chiyo).

Appearance[]

Personality[]

Ena is the student council president at Hamaki-Rosa academy. She is calm, graceful, and someone who everyone believes they can trust. Ena uses the information she gains from the students to push the goals of the Unifers, but she also truly believes that her actions are in Earth's best interests. She hates being argued with.

History[]

Diverse Connections Pretty Cure[]

Despite having only studied at Hamaki-Rosa for six months, Ena had won the student council election by a landslide and remains president for the majority of the series. Since then Ena has changed her school in ways that have caught the Pretty Cure's attention, such as proposing an end to various acceptance/pride movements in the school, kicking out disabled council members and even looking to remove accommodations for some students, such as Miyu's right to wear sound-attenuating headphones in class and the school's stim toys for those who usually use an object for stimming.

However, the majority of the student body doesn't know that Ena wants to do these things, and instead sees only the pro-diversity stunts that she pulls off only to keep the students calm; at the end of these stunts, she attacks a person who she supposedly approved of in her grand tweet/presentation/etc, shaping their fear so that it manifests as a Hitoshiina - but for some reason, Ena has never let herself be revealed as the true attacker.

Abilities[]

Like the other Mononian Unifiers, Ena can spawn Hitoshiina, bind humans and create vivid illusions. However, Ena can easily be described as the most charismatic and socially intelligent of the Mononian students, manipulating and pleasing her electors to create the perfect facade for her to attack and bind diverse students.

Etymology[]

Ena (エナ) - Greek for "One".

Chiyo (千世) - Japanese for "Thousand World".

Aikawa (相川) - Japanese for "Indigo River".
