Pretty Cure

  • Egaomiru Megami (笑顔見る女神 Egaomiru megami?) / Cure Joy (キュアジョイ Kyuajoi?)
The lead cure of the season. Megami is determined to find her mother, Egaomiru Miyuki, after she went missing. Other than that, Megami is an energetic 13-year old who is passionate about drawing. Her Pretty Cure alter ego is Cure Joy, the light of overflowing happiness whose theme colour is pink.
  • Asamura Shinku (浅村真紅 Asamura shinku?) / Cure Sunbeam (キュアサンビーム Kyuasanbīmu?)
Captain of the volleyball team, Shinku is much like her mother, Asamura Akane. Despite this, Shinku is also passionate about geography and can often be seen reading books about the world. Her Pretty Cure alter ego is Cure Sunbeam, the fire of eternal warmth whose theme colour is orange.
  • Inazuma Heiwa (稲妻平和 Inazuma heiwa?) / Cure Serene (キュアセリーヌ Kyuaserīnu?)
Shy yet elegant and graceful, Heiwa is much like her mother, Inazuma Yayoi. Like Megami, she is extremely talented in art. Her Pretty Cure alter ego is Cure Serene, the lightning of elegant peace whose theme colour is yellow.
  • Midorikawa Inochi (緑川命 Midorikawa inochi?) / Cure Vendaval (キュアベンダバル Kyuabendabaru?)
Niece of the famous Akikaze Nao, Inochi is just like her aunt: an older sister type and has a strong sense of justice. Her father, Midorikawa Keita, is also a famous soccer coach. Her Pretty Cure alter ego is Cure Vendaval, the wind of living courage whose theme colour is green.
  • Yukigafuru Seppen (雪が降る切片 Yukigafuru seppen?) / Cure Crystal (キュアクリスタル Kyuakurisutaru?)
Calm and collected, Seppen is the student council president as well as the captain of the swim team. Her Pretty Cure alter ego is Cure Crystal, the snowflake of dreaming nobility whose theme colour is blue.
  • Cure Charm (キュアチャーム Kyuachāmu?)
A mysterious Pretty Cure who appears from time to time, helping the Cures when necessary. She represents the magic of everlasting hope and her theme colour is purple.

  • Jelly (ゼリー Zerī?)
The main mascots of the season and princess of Märchenland. Jelly is sweet and quite clumsy.
  • Royale Candy (ロワイヤルキャンディー Rowaiyarukyandī?)
The queen of Märchenland and mother of Jelly. She was the mascot partner of the previous Pretty Cure and very worried about Miyuki.

  • Joker (ジョーカー Jokā?)
The main antagonist. After he sacrificed his life for Pierrot, he was mysteriously resurrected.
