Karina Utamine (歌峰かりな Utamine Karina) was the original Pretty Cure of Love from Fairytale Pretty Cure!. She was a beautiful and nurturing girl full of grace who acted very motherly to those she cared deeply for. One-hundred-years-ago, she gave up her powers to imprison Dead End. Her fairy partner was Tsubusu. Her teammates were Cure Fantasia, Cure Sage, and Cure Mystic.
Karina's alter ego is Cure Cherish (キュアチェリッシュ Kyua Cherisshu), the former Pretty Cure of Love, Cure Amora's predecessor.
History[]
Cure Cherish helped her team create Fanciful Kingdom, but when Dead End threatened to destroy it, they battled. However, their powers were perfectly even and Cure Cherish and her team couldn't win. Choosing the protection of their power over victory, Cure Cherish and the rest of the Pretty Cure gave up their powers to imprison Dead End.

Cure Cherish's appearance is unknown, only that her theme colour was white and violet.
Personality[]
Cure Cherish was a very beautiful and graceful mother-type who is very nurturing to those she cares about. She treats people the way she would want to be treated, but when someone wrongs her, she will hold a grudge for a long time until she can be proven wrong. She was very straighforward in this was, but always puts the needs of others in front of her own, which caused her to become easily ill. She put the people of Fanciful Kingdom ahead of herself when she gave up her powers to save them against Dead End.

Karina: (かりな) is an italian name that means "dear, beloved", which reflects her being the former Pretty Cure of Love
Utamine: (歌) means "song", (峰) means "peak"
Cure Cherish is to care, nurture, and protect with care and affection.
