Fish Turned Girl Pretty Cure Lovely Sea is a spin-off of the first season with 5 Ninja Dragonets who resemble their predecessors in both their true and human forms.

• Firefly/Hinode Zia/Cure Glow. Color: Yellow. Power: Light. She resembles Dandelion/Mahira/Cure Light in personality and appearance.
• Lapis/Cure Tide (Civilian name TBA). Color: Blue. Power: Water. She resembles Dragonet/Evelynn/Cure Cerulean in personality and appearance.
• Nova/Cure Heaven (Civlian name TBA). Color: Purple. Power: Clouds. She resembles Starcake in her true form, Yunibasu in personality and human form, and a mix of Cure Celestia and Cure Rice in Cure form.
• Lollipop/Cure Plush (Civilian name TBA). Color: Pink. Lapis's month-old daughter, she resembles Sugar/Stella/Cure Saccharine in appearance and personality. She is the youngest member, being 8 in human form.
• Parsley/Cure Meadow (Civilian name TBA). Color: Green. Power: Plants. She resembles Mossy/Morika/Cure Nature in appearance and personality.

Herbal Relax Pretty Cure

• Chino Sayari/Cure Chamomile. Color: Yellow.
• Nodoam Yukari/Cure Eucalyptus. Color: Green.
• Bloom/Otsuka Kaoru/Cure Lavender. Color: Purple. Kaoru is originally a fairy named Bloom, which is why she has purple skin.

Nice & Spice Pretty Cure

This series goes back to the theme of Futari Wa Pretty Cure in that it has only two Cures who need to be together to transform and attack. Their outfits also borrow design elements from Cure Black and Cure White (such as their hair not changing color and their legwarmers).

Metallica Pretty Cure

Recurring themes

• Every team is led by a yellow Cure. The two exceptions are Cure Nice and Cure Pansy, who have purple as their main color and yellow as their sub color.
• Often, one member is significantly older than the others. This is generally the purple or red Cure.
• Every Cure that has love as a power will physically age while transformed.
• There originally was a rule that said red and pink Cures had to be sparse and were not to be used very often, but this was scrapped since it got too restrictive.
• When a Cure's power is not listed in this page, it means they do not have a traditional elemental power and have attacks such as shooting chunks of gold (Cure Gold), stopping time for a few seconds by screaming (Cure Time) or creating giant spheres of ink (Cure Ink).
• Except for Color Art Pretty Cure, the Cures don't grow up in the epilogue after the final battle.
• During the baton pass message, the new and old yellow Cures' interactions will foreshadow the themes of the other team members, but with several other things relating to that theme also subtly shown as to throw fans off and not spoil it too soon.
