Acheron (アケロン?) is the main antagonist of Pretty Cure☆Lumiere.
The king of Gehenna who has just recovered from being sealed away for several centuries after the ancient Pretty Cure defeated him, Acheron is determined to destroy the Éclat Harp in order to destroy the symbol of hope and dreams so he can spread the disease of melancholy and despair throughout the worlds of Earth and Valhalla. Personality wise, Acheron is a rude, sadistic and merciless while being said to be without a single bone of kindness in his body. However, despite the rumours, he is caring towards his demonic minions and cares about them to the point of sacrificing some of his powers towards them.
He represents the sin of anger along with the Kuraikari and his image colour is red.

Etymology[]
Acheron is one of the five rivers of the Underworld in Greek Mythology. It is said that, in order to get to the Underworld, the spirits of the dead had to cross the Acheron on a boat.
